Safety & Cleaning

We've rented some really dirty bouncers from other companies before. Are they always that dirty?+

No. We pride ourselves on providing some of the cleanest and newest-looking inflatables on Long Island. Bounce Long Island LLC cleans and disinfects after every rental, and we guarantee you'll be satisfied.

Do we have to keep our inflatable plugged in the entire time?+

Yes, unless otherwise specified in safety training (kids should be removed from the unit and the blower turned off in high winds). The blower keeps air in the unit the whole time — once unplugged, it deflates. That's why we require an outlet within 50 ft of the unit, or a generator. Long cords can pop your circuit breaker, so we bring our own heavy-duty cords.

Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?+

Yes. We have you sign a contract when we drop off the inflatable that states all the safety rules, and we email you a copy after setup is complete.

Delivery & Setup

Does the price I see include setup and delivery?+

Setup is always included in your rental price. Delivery is a separate fee based on your area — tell us your town and event date and we'll give you the exact delivery cost.

Does the standard 4-hour rental time include your setup time?+

No. We arrive early to set up your inflatable so you get the entire rental time to play. Many rentals end up being overnight due to how busy it gets.

When do you set up your bounce houses and water slides?+

That depends on how many rentals we have going out that day. Generally we arrive 1–3 hours before your rental time begins. On very busy days we may set up as early as 4 hours in advance — if so, we'll call the day before to confirm someone will be at the party location. And no, you won't be charged for the extra time you get to jump and slide!

What about parks? Do parks have electricity?+

We don't set up in parks. The logistics are rough and most parks require permits to set up.

What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?+

Please make sure you have at least a 4 ft access path to the setup area. We're strong, but we can't lift these larger inflatables over walls or fences. The rides can weigh up to 650 pounds, so we need a clear path with ample room.

Booking & Payments

What forms of payment do you accept?+

We accept cash, credit cards, and Venmo — and in some instances checks (if you're a business). If paying by cash, please have exact change, as we don't usually carry change.

Do you require a deposit?+

We ask for an 8% deposit by credit/debit card to hold your date and rental item. The deposit reserves that unit for your special day so no one else can rent it.

Are we responsible if the unit gets a tear or is damaged in any way?+

Yes and no. You're not responsible for normal wear and tear — seams can develop tears in high-traffic areas over time; if that happens, please alert us right away so we can fix it. But if damage occurs from failure to follow our safety rules or from negligence (for example, not turning off the blower in high winds, or the use of silly string), you'll be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower, which can cost thousands of dollars. That's why we have you sign and initial our safety rules so you can be the trained operator. Use of silly string in or on one of our inflatables results in a $500 cleaning and damage fee, or possible replacement. We do offer a Damage Waiver for 10% of the total rental price — it's available during checkout and explained in detail there.

What if we need to cancel?+

You can move your rental to a different date. Otherwise deposits are non-refundable and won't be refunded unless it's raining or winds are above 15 mph sustained on the day of the party. If it's raining on your date, we'll contact you to see whether you'd like to go ahead or cancel. If you cancel due to those weather conditions, we won't deliver and anything you've already paid is refunded. If you choose to keep your rental, we'll deliver and full payment is due — no refunds or discounts will be given at that point, even if it rains all day.

Is the deposit refundable?+

Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. It holds a date and a product for your special day, which blocks someone else from renting that item for theirs.

Unfortunately the deposit is non-refundable. These are the times we're living in — it's a potential risk you take by booking for your party.

Do you do block parties?+

Summer of 2022 was the last summer we offered block parties. Based on our past experiences, each ride rented needed its own attendant, every block party had to be picked up by 7pm at the latest, and convenience fees applied.
